To truly gain the benefits of a diversity, it must be present for all members of the organization. For example, If an organization consists of 200 women working in HR/Administration/Marketing and 200 men working in Engineering/IT/Supply Chain the gender balance is 50/50. Does this company have a good gender diversity? We don't think so.
This is why we have developed a Diversity Score. It is a score for each employee, that reflects the age and gender diversity in their immediate organizational proximity. This score can be analyzed from multiple angles to uncover the true diversity situation and thereby help identify exactly where to target your efforts. Also, this score can be benchmarked across industries and geographic location to understand how your diversity stacks up against similar organizations.
