Job satisfaction – how is it measured?
Ennova’s model answers the question of what it means to be motivated and satisfied at work, and how this affects our behaviour.
An employee’s job motivation, satisfaction, engagement and faithfulness result from a range of factors associated with his or her experience of the job and workplace. As the model shows, these factors are grouped into seven dimensions that are based on current human resource theory and over ten years of comprehensive global analyses. The dimensions function as “levers”, which the organisation and individual managers can “use” to improve job satisfaction.

The seven dimensions and the concept behind employee satisfaction were developed based on our work with the European Employee Index, and are deeply integrated with all our surveys. We are constantly improving our methodology and acting on the knowledge that we obtain by working with an extensive list of businesses.
